Poor sheep...her neck was rubbed raw from the fence. She must have been trying to get out for a while.
Here she is. It's easy to get a great photo when they can't go anywhere.
Here we are trying to free the sheep. Now you must know that whenever we would get the hole bigger for her to back out she would push forward to get the nice big tufts of grass. We were trying to push her back, but she is one determined sheep.
After a while of pulling, pushing, and trying to talk the sheep into getting her head out of the fence, Will came back with a pair of wire cutter for the fence. So the fence was cut and the sheep was free!
Now the sheep was able to feed her little baby... That was our good deed for the day. This is one of those things that only happens in Fruita!
(We were all waiting to see sheep roaming around Fruita from us cutting the fence...but they weren't...)
