At one of Mikayla's swim meet there was a raffle. The kids both really wanted to buy tickets. It gave them each a dollar and let them choose whatever prize they wanted to enter for. Mikayla picked a "Girl Friends" basket and Gavin entered in for a "Slippery Summer" basket. We weren't going to be around for the drawing so I handed over the raffle tickets to Mikayla's coach saying, "don't worry we never win anything"... Guess what... Gavin WON!!! Yippy. It was pretty cool for him. He received a Slip n Slide and some fruit snacks, a towel, disposable cameras, bubbles, water guns and a torpedo water toy. I think this was the best $2 we have ever spent...
