Well Sarah Palin came to Grand Junction Monday and we got to see her. Yippy. The kids and I went to the baseball stadium around 2:30pm to get a spot to see her. Lucky for us, Leah had set a spot aside for us. The crowds weren't to bad when we got there, but later in the evening the lines to get in were really long.
Daddy had to work the event. Lucky for him...he got paid and got to eat dinner while listening to Sarah Palin speak. That is pretty cool.
They were handing out these red and white pom-poms to everyone...so the kids decided that they needed some. While we waited the kids were able to run around and play in the out field at the baseball field. Our seats were near the pitching mound.
Before Sarah got on the stage Hank William Jr. sang. He did a really good job. He is the one who sings "Are You Ready For Some Football..." from Monday night football.
